JOCO makes one. A luxury handcrafted shoe, drawn in Austin, made by hand in Tuscany with Italian leather. The same ancient shape, held to a different standard.

This shoe has been to a lot of rooms. Good restaurants. Late nights. Cities that reward the person who bothered to dress.

It travels well because it was built for people who do. There is a version of joy that comes from wearing something handmade in Italy — something that took this long to make and this far to travel — and saying nothing about it.

The Mojri begins as a last — a form carved to the exact geometry of the shoe. From that last, every proportion follows. The toe, the curve, the way it sits on the foot. Nothing is approximate.

The leather comes from Arzignano, at the heart of Italian tanning country, where the standards for hide selection and finishing are among the strictest in the world.

Every pair is made by hand in Tuscany, in small batches, to no seasonal schedule. There are no shortcuts in this process because the process is the point.
